About this part

John Deere's JS and JA walk-behinds use the 790120 carburetor, and it is a common reason those mowers start rough in spring. This kit brings a new carb, an air filter, a fuel filter and all five gaskets so nothing old is left in the path.

Every carb is wet-flow tested before it ships, which means it has been run with fluid through it to check the float and jets. Match your old carb's number, or check that the throttle-side mounting holes sit 46 mm apart.
