A leaf blower is a fall-and-spring machine, which means it spends most of the year sitting with fuel in the carb. By the time the leaves come down, the diaphragm has stiffened and the blower won't idle.

The backpack models here pull a lot of air through their filters, so a fresh foam element is often the cheapest fix of all. Carburetor kits are matched to the exact carb stamp, since two blowers that look the same can use different throttle linkages.
