When the part doesn't fit
It happens, usually because of a look-alike carburetor. Here's how to put it right.
- 1
Don't force it
If the mounting holes or linkage don't line up, stop there. A part that has been bolted on and run is harder to return.
- 2
Compare the stamps
Put the old part next to the new one and photograph both from the mounting side. Look-alike carburetors are the usual cause.
- 3
Start the return where you ordered
Returns go through the order page of the partner store you bought from, which prints the label and handles the refund under its return window.
- 4
Tell us about the fit
If you'd like help picking the correct part, send the photos to the counter. We'll point you to the right one and correct our fit list if it was wrong.
Parts that arrive damaged
If something arrives cracked or a piece is missing from the kit, open the order page of the partner store you bought from and request a replacement or refund there. Warranty claims go the same way.
