About this part
The MS170 and MS180 are STIHL's homeowner saws, and their C1Q-S57 carb plus the rubber intake manifold behind it are the usual reason for a saw that bogs or won't idle. This kit replaces both, along with the filters and fuel lines.
The intake manifold matters: an old cracked one leaks air and makes even a new carb run lean. Replace them together.
