About this part
Kohler's 52 050 02-S is the oil filter on most Command and Courage twins, and it turns up on far more than mowers: scissor lifts, boom lifts and utility equipment use the same engines.
The can is finished in a glossy, heat-resistant lacquer. Older engines came with a yellow filter and newer ones with white; this one fits both.
