About this part
When you turn the key and hear a single click and nothing else, the starter solenoid is the most likely culprit. This 12-volt, 3-post side-mount solenoid is the one MTD fitted to its front- and rear-engine riders.
It also crosses to Snapper 18817, Toro 112-0309 and the Trombetta 812-1211-211. Note where each wire goes before you take the old one off.
